Floor 116 of the Ping An Finance Center, the tallest building in Shenzhen, reached by a lift doing ten metres a second - 55 seconds from the ground. The operator puts the deck at 541 m and the tower at 600 m, and the draw is a full circle: the CBD below, Hong Kong's New Territories across the bay, and a glass floor section cantilevered out over the drop. The catch is the clock.
